Can't Be There in Person?
A lot of my clients are out of state. They have a parent's home in Charlotte County that needs to be cleared, and they can't fly down for every step. That doesn't have to be a problem.
How I work with families from out of state
It usually starts with a phone call. You tell me about the house — where it is, roughly how big, what kind of shape it's in. If you can send a few photos, that helps. If not, I can arrange to see it.
I can coordinate with a local contact — a neighbor, a realtor, a family friend — to let me in for the walkthrough. Or I can work with the attorney if there's a key being held. I've done this enough times that logistics usually aren't an issue.
Once I have a price and you say go, I keep you posted with photos as I work. Before I start, during the job, and when the house is done. You'll know exactly what happened without having to be there.
What I handle from start to finish
Coordinate with local contacts or attorneys to access the property
Full walkthrough and flat-rate quote — you approve before anything starts
Photos sent before, during, and after
Personal items — family photos, documents, jewelry, letters — set aside in labeled boxes
Everything else cleared: furniture, clothes, dishes, garage, shed
Broom-clean finish — property ready for the realtor
“My mom passed away in Punta Gorda and I was in Ohio trying to manage everything from up here. Jonathan made this one part feel completely taken care of. He sent photos every day. When I flew down three weeks later, the house was empty and clean. I couldn't believe it.”

Let's start with a phone call
